Physostegia virginiana - Obedient Plant Pink
Obedient plant, also known as false dragonhead, is a fast-growing perennial that is easy to grow. It prefers full sun and well drained soil that is on the acidic side. Stunning pink flowers appear in summer and continue to autumn. . Flowers open from the bottom of the stalk and work upwards. Plants spread by seeds and rhizomes. Lamb's Ear (Stachys byzantina)
Lamb's Ears are a perennial known for their thick velvety foliage that creates a softly textured mat in the garden. This plant is known also for its hardiness. Drought and frost tolerant, thrives in poor soil and loves the sun. Just make sure it doesn't get too wet. It is an excellent plant for rock gardens and dry gardens.
