'Bampton' is a hardy, low-maintenance perennial noted for its deep plum-burgundy foliage and continuous lavender-pink flowers from summer to autumn. This plant grows best in full sun, well drained positions. Don't let this plant dry out. Cut plant back during autumn. Height to 80cm.
‘Bampton’ provides superb stems for floral arrangements, and lasts well in a vase. The tiny lavender pink heads, almost black stems, and fine, shiny wine-bronze leaves make a wonderful filler amongst larger blooms. Cut the stems as the blooms are just beginning to open for a long vase life.

Sow seeds during autumn or spring. I recommend sowing seeds into pots due to the small size of the seeds. Place seeds on top of the soil and water gently. Keep seeds damp but not wet. Seeds will germinate when temperatures are around 20cm. Grow plants to around 10cm in height, harden off and plant out.
