Scabiosa stellata 'Paper Moon' - Starflower or Drumstick Flower

This is a popular annual known for its delicate, pale blue flowers that mature into unique, papery, spherical seed heads that are perfect for dried arrangements. They will add a rustic or natural element to dried displays, or can be used as fillers alongside other blooms like grasses for depth and interest, offering a long-lasting, structural element to your floral arrangements. Height 70cm.

These are easy to grow plants. I scatter seeds during autumn. But you can also direct sow seeds in spring unless you live in sub tropical to tropical areas. Germination occurs at approximately at 10 to 20 days at 20C.

Plants prefer full sun and well drained soil.
