This plant is perfect for creating a splash of colour in pots or in the garden. ‘Sensation Rose’ is a compact perennial with spikes of amethyst-pink flowers from late October until early January. If cut back hard in early January it will rebloom during late summer and autumn. This is a hardy plant, grow in full sun or morning sun. Keep well watered but not wet. Height 30cm.
When sowing, remember Salvias need light to germinate (don't cover seeds). Due to the size of the seeds, I recommend sowing seeds in pots. Keep damp, not wet. Seeds will germinate when temperatures are around 20cm. Grow plants to 10cm in height, harden off and plant out.
