Bunny Tails - Lagurus ovatus is an annual ornamental grass with plumes of white fluffy flowers that look like bunny tails. Growing to a height of 30cm it prefers a location that receives full sun to part shade. This plant is perfect for the edges of walkways, borders and driveways or grow it in a meadow garden.

Flowers are excellent fresh or dried in floral arrangements. Flowers can be dyed using food colouring. Let flowers soak in solution of food colouring and water. Hang to dry,
I just scatter seeds after the danger of frost has passed. The seeds are best left on the surface of the soil as they need sunlight to germinate. Seeds can be started indoors and transplanted when they are around 10cm in height. Seeds will begin to germinate within 7 to 14 days after sowing. Flowering will occur in around 14 weeks.
